ASB Baden-Württemberg e.V. sees a need for action to give greater recognition to the services of skilled workers in the care, rescue and social and educational services. For this reason, the association has developed a model that makes the remuneration of skilled workers significantly more attractive. ASB Baden-Württemberg e. V. agreed on the introduction of the skilled worker bonus in addition to other points during a collective bargaining meeting on 30.01.2024. The introduction is currently still subject to the approval of the committees involved.
In addition to the already fixed pay increases, the above-mentioned ASB specialists will receive bonuses of between 2.5% and 5.5% on their respective table pay from September 2024, depending on their level (level 3 to level 6). These bonuses will then be doubled from March 2025. This amounts to up to 500 euros in the final level. This bonus system rewards long-serving employees in particular.
As part of the talks with Ver.di, it was also agreed to adjust the relief allowance. From April to October, the relief allowance will be €107.14 net (per full-time position) for full-time employees and trainees instead of €150. Temporary staff will then receive a flat rate of €35.71. ASB Baden-Württemberg has already been paying the relief allowance voluntarily since January 2023. Now that the payment of the relief allowance of €3,000 has become mandatory in the collective bargaining negotiations, it will end at ASB with this adjustment in October 2024.
