Words of thanks from Rhineland-Palatinate

Together with Interior Minister Strobl, Thomas Linnertz, President of the Supervisory and Service Directorate (ADD) of Rhineland-Palatinate, presented the certificate and medal to the representatives of the various organizations and thanked them for the outstanding efforts of each individual to help the people in and after the flood disaster.
The ASB Mannheim/Rhine-Neckar Region emergency personnel supported the rescue forces in Mayschoß in the district of Ahrweiler for more than four weeks. They took over the local emergency aid center. It served as the first point of contact for the medical care of the population, the volunteers and the emergency forces.

A total of 2,400 emergency personnel from Baden-Württemberg will receive the flood relief medal for their outstanding and tireless efforts during the flood disaster in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2021.
