ASB medical service
We help here and now. 24/7!Our medical service
You celebrate relaxed and carefree - we take care!
First-aid services are needed wherever large numbers of people gather. For example, at concerts, festivals, sporting events and soccer matches. The ASB Mannheim Rhine-Neckar Region provides first-aid services as a permanent partner for many major events. For example, the SRH twilight marathon in Mannheim or the second division Bundesliga games of SV Sandhausen. Our employees provide medical first aid in case of emergency. Expert ASB helpers: inside and the necessary vehicles are ready to provide help quickly. Depending on the size of the event, the legal regulations require that there must always be enough qualified emergency personnel on site. The first-aid services can be requested for public, company and private celebrations.
Consultation and offer
The following information is important for us to provide you with a detailed consultation about the medical service at your event:
- What type of event is it (sport, concert, festival)?
- How many guests are you expecting?
- Are you expecting local, national or international celebrities?
- What time is the event and how long does it last?
- At which location is the event planned? (Concert hall, open air area, company premises)
Together with you, we create a comprehensive concept before the event and plan the implementation. In the case of larger-scale operations, our range of services includes not only the implementation of emergency preparedness, but also the preparation of an operational plan, participation in safety meetings of the event organizers and regulatory authorities, the provision of information to the rescue control centers, the activation of an emergency cell phone and the preparation of an operational evaluation.
Join in - have fun - do good
The ambulance service thrives on volunteers. We are an open, friendly community and welcome all people who want to join us. They experience exciting events up close, they have fun and exchange in the team and care for injured or sick people.
A prerequisite for volunteer ambulance service is participation in a first aid course. Further training builds on the following courses:
The paramedic course (SHL) prepares participants for basic paramedic service. The paramedics are provided with a paramedic bag and mask ventilation aids for use in the field. The course ends with an examination if the training is not continued within three months with the paramedic service course.
The paramedic service course (SDL) completes the paramedic technical training. The course prepares students for paramedic services in a team, using the DIN equipment of an ambulance. The SDL course concludes with an examination to become a paramedic.
The knowledge and skills must be refreshed in regular training sessions and can be supplemented and expanded through specialized continuing education.
