Due to the legal order to contain the Corona pandemic, work is also restricted at the outpatient hospice service.
But how can ASB's outpatient hospice service continue to offer its help under these circumstances? Experience shows that families accompanying a dying relative often need support by being able to talk about what they are experiencing and ask questions. Even for dying people who are still able, a conversation can be a help.
In these exceptional circumstances, the ASB Hospice Group would like to draw attention to the possibility of telephone accompaniment by trained volunteers. Accompaniment in the home area on site is possible under certain conditions and will be reviewed in detail.
Through the Coordinator, palliative counseling can also be provided by telephone.
