The corona situation in Heidelberg care facilities of the network gutepflege-heidelberg.de

In view of the ongoing crisis, the facility providers that have joined forces in the gutepflege-heidelberg.de network (Paritätische Sozialdienste Heidelberg, Agaplesion Rhein-Neckar, Caritas, evang. Stadtmission and ASB) have agreed on a joint strategy regarding the regulation of visits.

Visits to care facilities

Visits to the nursing facilities are still possible in accordance with the current Corona Ordinance of the State of Baden-Württemberg. However, in the interest of the residents' health, the number of visits is reduced to a maximum of 2 persons per day. The care facilities appeal to the visitors to ensure that visits are only ever made by the same person (max. 2 of the same person) and that the applicable general hygiene rules and the facility-specific regulations are strictly observed. In this context, the sponsors request that FFP 2 masks (without exhalation valve) be worn for the protection of residents and staff.

Quick tests

The applications for self-application of rapid antigen tests have been submitted. There are longer delivery times for larger quantities of the rapid tests. Visitors cannot be tested at this time. The available rapid tests are used for symptomatic employees as well as residents.

From the point of view of the facility operators, many questions are still unanswered in connection with rapid tests. The increased time required for testing is viewed critically.
The providers will develop individual test concepts for their facilities.
