New head of rescue services in office

We welcome our new Head of Rescue Services, Markus Schwarzbauer, who is now in charge of the Rescue Services department.

The 47-year-old trained emergency paramedic has been passionately involved in the rescue service since his civilian service and has many years of experience in management positions: From head of the training rescue station to the position of deputy head of rescue services or as service manager for social areas, the native Swabian knows the areas of rescue services and care and the working methods of different aid organizations.

To mark his induction, Managing Director Joachim Schmid symbolically presented Mr. Schwarzbauer with his new work clothes, a rescue service jacket, at the Mannheim-Käfertal rescue station. In future, Mr. Schwarzbauer will be responsible for the rescue services department at ASB Mannheim/Rhine-Neckar, which also includes the training rescue station, the medical service and civil protection.

At the same time, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Frank Weissbarth and Herwig Grob for their dedicated work over the past few months. It was only thanks to them that we were able to keep the day-to-day rescue service workflow running.
