Award of the Rhineland-Palatinate flood relief medal

ASB Mannheim/Rhein-Neckar emergency services honored in a ceremony:

After the devastating flood disaster in the Ahr valley in 2021, numerous helpers from the Mannheim relief organizations and the fire department were also on duty. The state of Rhineland-Palatinate awarded them the flood relief medal for their efforts. District President Sylvia M. Felder presented the medals at the end of September together with Thomas Näther, the Mannheim fire department commander, during an honorary ceremony at the Mannheim fire department.

The Flood Relief Medal is awarded for exceptional assistance during the flood disaster in Rhineland-Palatinate, which occurred on July 14, 2021.

We are incredibly proud of our helpers and are happy with them about the honor!
